Bio

I am Linda Horaist, a nature and wildlife photographer, who enjoys exploring and documenting.  My love for art began at the age of 7 with drawing and painting.  I also recall having an innate fascination for botanicals.  I enjoy capturing the beauty that exists all around me wherever I go.

My photography began around the age of 12.  When I expressed an interest in taking photographs, my grandmother gave me her Kodak camera.  In the year 2000, I purchased my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix.  I was so enthusiastic about what it could do that I carried it around with me for many years producing my photos as a hobby.  Later, when I attended continuing education courses at the University of Louisiana, the enthusiasm reignited.  I then realized I could use my photographs to express my creativity and share my love for nature.

Through my continued work and self-studies, this is where my artistic journey is today.  These images are my works of art.  My goal is to produce them as Fine Art with the hope that these prints will bring you happiness for years to come.
