After studying the tiny white flowers produced by clover, in my very early youth, I became intrigued by the bees that hovered about them. I then hopped about the clover patches collecting bees with an empty Kraft Mayonnaise jar in one hand and a lid in the other. And once I had achieved my goal, they were set free until another playful afternoon of catch and release.
Today, dragonflies dance across my backyard, butterflies flutter around the flowers, and bees collect their pollen.
