The view of an ocean from shore to horizon provides a feeling like no other. Its greatness of size and waves of energy feel powerful as it reflects the sky above.
When I look at the Saint Martin images of the cypress trees, I think of Claude Monet’s study of light during different times of the day. The actual light combined with my camera’s interpretation of light is very different for each of these shots. The sunset is my favorite of the three. Light appears to emanate from the tops of the center trees. This shot was taken with a small pink Nikon Coolpix camera.
